A Message from our Business Manager: Gina Laughlin
It is my pleasure to serve as the Business Manager of Abernathy ISD. My unique experience with administration in the school setting and private accounting sector has lead me down a path to become part of this exciting Antelope Community. Seeing everyone from Pre-K to staff in their maroon on Thursdays/Fridays is one of my favorite parts of the week. My husband, Andy, and I have been in Lubbock area since 2005 and have raised three children in the area. Our oldest son, Tristin, is attending Vet school at Texas Tech University and will be married soon. My daughter, Andrea, is studying psychology at Lubbock Christian University. Our youngest son is a Junior in High School where he will be found on the football field under those Friday Night Lights.
Although this position is new to me, leadership is something I have years of experience in and enjoy. Building a community and team is the secret for the success of the district and is what I look forward to doing each day when I walk in the door. My favorite quote when you walk in the door is “How can I help?” When we all work together success is surely to come for all involved. My vision for Abernathy ISD is to continue its great traditions while helping to prepare and equip staff to do their very best each day, in and out of the classroom. - report a change in address or phone number (Employee Information Update)
- change your federal withholding on your paycheck (W-4)
- change the bank account used for direct deposit (Authorization for Direct Deposit)

Abernathy ISD provides a Sick Leave Bank for its employees with a fall Open Enrollment period. The documents on this page should provide employees with the information needed regarding the bank. Should employees have any further questions, AISD Business Services will handle any questions you may have.
